Easiest ever Tzatziki
My easiest ever tzatziki, because chip and dip doesn't need to be hard. Sometimes you want something easy, quick and low effort. Be it for a snack, maybe you've decided to bring something to a party or maybe you're hosting yourself. Regardless, my easy Tzatziki is a fresh and simple dip, perfect with some pitta to start off a meal or as a delicious topper for lamb burgers, gyros or kebabs. A delicious way to transport you back to lazy holidays in the med, with chip, dip and a cold beer. I always get asked for this recipe, and it really is so simple.. Recipe Prep Time : 15 mins Serves : 5 Difficulty : Easy 1 500gr tub of Greek yoghurt 1/2 cucumber 2 tablespoons dried mint Olive Oil Salt 1 - Grate the cucumber on the fine grater then drain off as much of the water as possible. 2 - Place yoghurt into the bowl and then add the cucumber, a pinch of salt and mint. Mix well. 3 - Set aside and before serving drizzle some olive oil on top and a sprinkling of mint. Great with Warm pitta breads and some lemon. Variations With a kick - Add half a grated chilli. With some spice - Add 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. For the garlic lovers - Add 1 clove grated or finely chopped garlic. For the luxury lovers - drizzle some balsamic glaze on top with the olive oil. Either way - scoff the whole thing up!!
